The Star Club

As far back as 1956, the Ladies of the Lodge who were involved with Eastern Star could join the "Eastern Star Club."  This club met monthly, invited guest speakers, and provided a forum for the Ladies to show off their hobbies.  As Mary Gregory states: "A while back the Mason's wanted to organize a Widow's Club and combined Eastern Star Club and Widow's Club, calling it "Star Club."  Now, the Star Club is open to all of the Ladies at the Lodge.

Presently, Ora Lee Schwade is president and Laura Griger is Secretary, Treasurer.  The Star Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month.  The Club has a meal at the Lodge and organizes activities for the Ladies.  Each month they have a group of from twenty to twenty five Ladies attend.  They also organize outside field trips.
